THE PERFORMANCE
Ashes is the meeting point of two stories. The story of a pyromaniac who burned down a village in the south of Norway in 1978, and the story of the writer, who by retelling this story, needs to face his own fears. A brutally poetic piece of visual theatre about how quickly the forces in us can change from creative to destructive; about the beast that hides within every human heart.
Actors, life-sized puppets, music and video.
