David Lejard-Ruffet

Video Designer

In parallel to his training and work as a comedian, David is a self-taught photographer and video editor. Since 2008, he has directed a dozen of short movies and institutional films. Ashes was the first project on which he participated as a video designer. His work around projection mapping (a technique which turns objects into a display surface) in the show was nominated, alongside Yngvild’s and David Farine’s work, to receive the Heddaprisen (Norvegian prize for theatre) in the category Best visual show.

He started his collaboration with Plexus Polaire on Ashes, Chambre noire, Moby Dick and Dracula.

 

Xavier Lescat

Light Designer and Technician

Xavier is a light manager, stage manager and lighting designer. He trained at the Beaux Arts in Montpellier then in management at the CFPTS de Bagnolet. He works for theater, puppet and dance companies, in France and abroad. He also works with renowned theaters in Paris (Le Monfort Théâtre, CDN de Montreuil, Théâtre des Champs Elysées).

He started his collaboration with Plexus Polaire in 2015 with the show Ashes that has toured in more than 15 countries followed by Chambre Noire that has been an Under the Radar 2019 hit and Moby Dick. 

Antony Aubert

Sound Designer and Technician

Trained at the CFPTS (Professional Training Center in Performing Techniques), he joined companies and musical groups in creation such as Trafic de Styles, Compagnie du Tournesol, Charlotte Etc…, the Ogres de Barback, the companies Ah !!! and Les Affranchis for whom he realised musical and sound creations. From 2005 to 2009, he toured the world with the company Dos à Deux (Public Prize Avignon 2005) and its repertoire. Member of the jury at CFPTS 2009, he joined the company Philippe Genty for the show "Voyageurs immobiles.

Collaboration with Plexus Polaire on Ashes and Chambre Noire.

Vincent Loubière

Light Designer and Technician

He trained at the CFPTS in Paris from 2007 to 2009 and has since worked as stage manager and lighting designer with various directors: Antoine Lemaire/Cie THEC, Marjorie Efther, Marie Filippi & David Scattolin/Cie L’Ouvrier du drame, le Théâtre du Nord et l’E.P.S.A.D à Lille, Cie L’Oiseau-Mouche, Le Vivat in Armentières, L’interlude T/O, Pierre Foviau/ Cie Les Voyageurs. He is currently general manager for Laars and Co / Vincent Thomasset and technician at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.

Vincent started his collaboration with Plexus Polaire in early 2017 on the show Ashes and has since pursued his collaboration with the company as technical director and light designer for Moby Dick and Doll’s House.

Raphael Barani

Sound Designer and Technician

Raphael Barani is a graduate of the ENS Louis-Lumière and the International School of Cinema of Cuba. He is a sound and musical creator, as well as sound, stage and video manager for live shows (Plexus Polaire / puppet, Kobal't / theater, Benjamin Grain / equestrian circus), and publishing projects for young audiences (Bayard Presse, Lito )... He is also an author and radio producer (RTBF, Radio Classique ...).

Raphael started his collaboration with Plexus Polaire in 2018 with the show Chambre Noire and pursued with Moby Dick.

 

Simon Masson

Sound Designer and Technician

After his BTS in Audiovisual - specialisation in sound (Roubaix, France), Simon worked with numerous companies in the Nord-Pas de Calais region as a sound technician, both on productions and tours (HVDZ, Théâtre de chambre, In extremis, Les voyageurs, Compagnie de l’oiseau mouche…).

He regularly works in hospitality at Scène Nationale de La Rose des vents (Villeneuve d’Ascq) and at Le Théâtre du Manège (Maubeuge).

He is also a musician, has a few projects with the band Schlauberg and currently works on his personal project.

Collaboration with Plexus Polaire on Ashes and Moby Dick.

David Farine

Light Designer and Technician

David is a location scout and experienced stage manager who developed his career in Burgundy (France). At times, he can be on sets to produce special effects since he is specialized in safety, fire and fireworks. He has spent 20 years in the artistic and audiovisual field at various positions: audiovisual general manager, assistant cinema manager, specialist safety advisor, light designer, acrobatic technician or working with schools. David has also been volunteer firefighter since 2001.

Collaboration with Plexus Polaire on Opéra Opaque, Ashes and Chambre noire.

 

Emilie Nguyen

Light Designer and Technician

Before fully commiting to lighting design, Emilie first acquired a degree in applied arts, more specifically in exhibition and event design, at Ecole Boulle in Paris. During her student exchange program at the Université du Québec à Montréal, she started experimenting with set design and stagecrafts associated with live performance. Having hugely benefited from this Canadian theatrical background, she returned home and dedicated herself to lighting design, entering a two-year block-release training program which saw her alternating her time between classes at the CFPTS and work as technician at Théâtre 13, in Paris. Since then, she has toured with different companies, helping carrying technical duties and by assisting in lighting designing for their shows.

She is collaborating with Plexus Polaire on the show Dracula.

 

Margot Boche

Stage Technician

Margot Boche is a graduate of the technician training at ADAMS (2010-11) and CFPTS (2013-15) schools.

She first carried out numerous voluntary work in festivals (structures, stages and lights), but also technical internships at Confort Moderne, at TAP in Poitiers and at the Garonne theater in Toulouse. She was a light/stage technician for the VVL, an amateur theater company, before becoming a machinist and flywoman at TAP (Poitiers) then a stage technician at Hellerau - European Art Center, Dresden, Germany as part of of an exchange with the CFPTS.

She is now a machinist and flywoman at Théâtre de la Ville, Théâtre de la Colline and Théâtre de l'Odéon. She is also stage manager for the Louis Brouillard company.

Stéphane Née

Set transporter and stage manager, founder of Transcénic

Trained "on the job" during the last century, participating in "garage rock" tours, he had the opportunity to work from 1981 as a stage manager and transporter for the TBM de Champigny directed by Pierre Santini.

Since then, various encounters and cooptations have enabled him to accompany the tours of various dance and theater companies: Angelin Preljocaj, Maguy Marin, Odile Duboc, Mathilde Monier, the Théâtre Artistic Athévains, the TQI d'Ivry... Philippe Genty’s producer approached him and asked him to become part of their adventure; like Blanca Li, for whom he is the “official” transporter on many shows.

To complete its range of services, he had to built two warehouses for storing sets. He nowadays continues the adventure for Yngvild Aspeli and her artists and technicians within the Cie Plexus Polaire.

Hugo Masson

Video Technician

Hugo graduated from audiovisual diploma in video techniques in France. During his formation he was in internship at AMP Visual TV near Paris and worked in some major sports events and some French TV programs as video technician. After his diploma he followed a formation in video live streaming and worked with AV Prod in Lille for many conventions of large industrial groups. In September 2020 he joined the company Plexus Polaire on the show Moby Dick as video technician.

 

Emilie Delforce

Sound Technician

Emilie discovered her passion for video with the audiovisual option she took at her high school. She then did an audiovisual BTS focused on image professions in apprenticeship (2013-2015), following which she worked for various events as a technician in video, light or electrical distribution for fairs, concerts or festivals. She is also a video technician at the Théâtre du Nord (Lille) and at the Phénix (Valenciennes). She joined Plexus Polaire company in 2021 on Moby Dick.

 

Morgane Rousseau

Light Technician

After graduating from CFPTS in 2012, Morgane worked as a lighting manager for directors such as Patrick Pineau, Bernard Lévy, Mathieu Bauer, Julien Bouffier. Then, she worked on contemporary operas for Théâtre et Musique company as well as for the dance company Bintou Dembele. In recent years, she has also held the position of stage manager of touring shows.

Collaboration with Plexus Polaire on Moby Dick.

 

Baptiste Coin

Sound and Video Technician

Musician from a young age, Baptiste turned to performing arts as soon as he entered high school. He worked in various theatres in the Paris region before taking work-study training as a sound manager and then as an administrator of scenic networks at the CFPTS in Bagnolet. He regularly collaborates on music festivals such as Estival, Jazz in Marciac etc.

Baptiste joined Plexus Polaire in 2021 for the show Dracula.

 

Alexandra Brunet

Technician

Collaboration with Plexus Polaire on Opéra Opaque.

 

Alix Weuge

Light / Stage Technician

After studying Communication, Design Spaces and Volumes at ESAAT (France), Alix starts a work-study training with Prato, Pôle National des Arts du Cirque in Lille (France) and 3IS Spectacle Vivant in Trappes (France).

In September 2013, her first contracts begin, hosting La Comédie de Béthune, L'Hippodrome de Douai, Vivat in Armentières and the Colisée de Roubaix (France).

She then tours as a lighting manager for theater, clown, circus, puppet and object companies.

She joined the Plexus Polaire team in 2016 as lighting manager for the show Chambre Noire. She is currently working alongside Yngvild Aspeli on Doll’s House.
